The reason why it is important to swim is because if you are in a tsunami, lost in the sea you can swim your way back.

In 2019 there were about 82 people that had died from drowning because they couldn't swim. In 2018 there were about 68 people that had died because they couldn’t swim. In 2017 92 people have died because of drowning.  CLICK HERE TO LEARN ABOUT WATER SAFETY!

Swimming is a part of swimming because swimming will protect you in any waterways. Swimming is like an exercise, it's a water sport, it's cardio and you may feel like it gives you strength which is true. Swimming is really fun and a social activity.

If you don't know how to swim please please wear a life jacket or if you have a baby you can buy floaty arm thingings and you can buy those togs that have the puffy things inside of them. If you see someone endanger and no lifeguards around but you know how to swim HELP THEM IMMEDIATELY.

Intro- Humans and monkeys have a lot of similarities. They are both mammals. 

Mammals have live babies and not eggs, the babies drink milk out of them, they are warm blooded .

Humans and monkeys both have 2 legs and 2 arms. Humans and monkeys can't breath under water which is the same as    ground animals.As other species like turtles, and spiders, when turtles have their baby they would likely to leave their babies after born, spider they would just eat the babies.Mammals would stay and look after their baby feed it play with it they would grow up with the baby and when their older they would possibly stay together, so technically mammals don't abandon their babies, but other animals and insects do .Humans can pick up tools which are like monkeys. They both have thumbs which will hold the tool in your hand if you get a good grip.

So the humans have developed brains and the human lifespan = 82 years . And the human cooks their own  food and the monkey can’t hold their breath underwater and they have bigger brains than humans. And the apes live up to 39 years old . And the monkey eats plants to make their medicine to take care of the babies and the older parents.   

But the monkey is any primate that is not a human,prosimians and the bush there babies and other primitive primates . And the monkey makes up to three groups of simian primate, old world monkey and the new monkey. The other groups of apes. 

 

And so the humans were monkeys and after when they were monkeys they became a caveman and after when the humans were cave men they became a human and the human can do his own things like cook his own food and they put some tools and they bathe themself. 

And the monkey and the humans have a different way to have a relationship but they have different language to communicate to have a relationship. 

Monkeys and humans have different DNA because the Scientists have long known that chimps and humans share about 98 percent of their DNA. At last, however, one can sit down with two scrolls of computer printout, march through the two genomes, and see exactly where our 2 percent difference lies. 

Humans have adenine, guanine,  cytosine, and thymine. Monkeys Humans, chimpanzees and monkeys share DNA but not genes.

So the humans have fewer chromosomes than monkeys and the monkeys have more chromosomes than humans. And the humans have =46 and the monkeys have =48 chromosomes.So Jane Goodall is a primatologist and she is the world foremost expert on chimpanzees, and Jane is best known for her 60 years of study.      

Homo sapien is one of the several species grouped into the genus homo. Homo sapien is the only one  

.And so the chromosomes are part of the DNA of the humans and the monkeys.

One morning at 3.30am there was a girl named Jackson. She was walking across the road in Paris in the town called lonely vill and spotted a building that had a lot of food. Jackson was a loving 17 year old french and candaidien girl, She said to herself “ I don’t really care because no one is in this town so i'm just gonna go steal”.  She walked in the shop and grabbed a bunch of food.

Later after she grabbed so much food she heard a big KABOOM sound she thought in her mind it sounded like someone else was here, but she thought to herself again that’s impossible so she went to go check it out. There was another person Jackson’s mouth dropped and she was so shocked to see someone finally. Jackson went up to the girl and said “hi my name is Jackson Lopez nice to meet you”. The other girl said “Hi my name is Sarah lopez and i'm about to kill you” bringing out her sword, Jackson was so scared but at the same time she wasn’t she said “lopez is your last name” “yeah” replied sarah “ so why do you care” , “just think about it don’t you think we might be related just put down the sword” said Jackson, Sarah started to think yeah we might be cousins so sarah decided to take her to her home where all of her family members live.

On the way to Sarah’s home they saw a man that was standing in the middle of the road holding a smith and wesson gun. The man asked what your guys name and last name they replied, its “Sarah lopez and Jackson lopez ”, the man said “hi my name is Tommy, Tommy lopez nice to meet you”. Tommy was wearing a black mask, a hoodie and black track pants with some Nike air forces, Tommy took off his mask and said “ my beautiful kids” they both snapped into tears and said “DAD!” All of them started crying. They were so happy together.

When Sarah took them to her house the mother was their and all the other family members. They were so happy to be reunited. Then after a couple of years people started visiting the town. Lonely vill was known as the most visited place and is now called Lopez town.

Rushing through the freezing snow a group of people were going to explore a mountain called Mount Fries land. Gabby, known as the 21 year old and kinda scared of bigfoot said “guys we are nearly there”.

Gabby's friend Kehlani, 6 years older than her, said “ I can’t believe I'm here. I wanted to come here years ago, just to see sea animals they are the cutest! That's why I became a blogger to blog about sea animals”. An hour later they were at the mountain, Gabby’s assistant Enzo was jumping up and down excitedly. Gabby was happy to see her 25 years old assistant happy. As for Alan (the impatient 37 year old) fun one was excited to climb he said “ I love climbing that’s the only thing I do in life to be honest”. A few minutes later they were at the Mountain, they all hooked up a rope and a carabiner on the harness around their waist.

When they started to climb Enzo was the highest person on that mountain. All his friends were below him,  tied together making a long line that spread down the cliff face. He was climbing too fast; his rope was accidently cut by a sharp rock. His friends plummeted to the snow below and were terrifically alright. He was holding on two rocks by his fingertips. Enzo shouted out to his friends “ GET HELP!”Gabby quickly called the ambulance on her satellite phone. They said “that they will be here in a couple of minutes”. Gabby said “ just hold on there be here in a minute. The ambulance rang again and said “ we have a little problem with the helicopter just keep him comfortable”, Enzo replied nervously “ i’m just gonna jump”. When he did he safely landed on the snow. Everyone was relieved and happy they went up to Enzo and said “are you ok”, he replied “yeah the snow felt like a soft pillow, it cushioned my landing”. The ambulance came in a helicopter. The people in the ambulance helicopter lowered a ladder and they climbed up later they took them home and one of the men said “ be safe bye” All of them replied saying “ THANK YOU!” so loud.

At the end everyone had a terrifying moment.But they each told their story to any relatives and they made sure they were never going to go back to that mountain, but they all live the same ordinary life.

Alphabet challange

Today on Tuesday 22nd october 2019, Miss Ashley explained we were going to do an activty to write about. The instructions were to get into a group of three, in my group was: Anittah, and Tsai, Miss Ashley would have to give a pecie of paper. Next we would have to grab a book to lean on and a pencil to write with. After Miss Ashley told us the rules you got to wait for her to say a catagory, then you got to right that catagory on the sheet wich is in alphabet order.

Later we Miss Ashley finished explainging everything we began the first catagory we had was called Names of places we wrote it down Miss put a timer at 3 minuets because she like that way it went, 3 minutes, 3 rounds, 3 columns, and three topics. We finally began the first we started of was A for A we done was Africa, B was for Belgium, C was for Canada, we didnt have anything for D E F so we skipped all the way to G wich was for Greenland, H was for Holland, I was for India, J was for Japan, again we had nothing for K and L so we skipped again to M, M was for melbourne, we had no word for O so we skipped that letter and moved onto P wich was for Paris, skipped Q and R to S, Sfor samoa, T for Tonga, U for Unitedstates and my group stopped there because
we had no word for, V W X Y and Z. After Miss Ashley checked everything to see if everyone gotted different awnsers if you had the same awnser then you dont get a point, I got 9 same awnsers wich means I dont get Nine points, wich only means my team and I gets three points but it was alright, we moved on to the next round.

The next cacatgory was called movie titles aafter Miss Ashley began the timer we began. The first movie for A was for Aquaman, B was for barbi, we didnt know what to write for C D E F G H I J K L M and O, the Movie for P was called Pou, we skiped Q and moved on to the letter R, the movie for R was Rich Asians, the word for S was Shazams, T for Tall girl, we skiped again to V, my word for V was Valetine, W was for Wall of fame, we passed by X and Y, for Z we done Zoo topia. When we finished the whole thing Miss Ashley checked again we gotted 4 points, My team found out that Pou Barbie and valetine wasn't a movie we were all laughing and I was like oh ok hahahah.

The last catagory was not suprising at all it was fruit. We all beganed at the same time, for A is for apple, B is for banana, passed by C, continued on D, D for dragon fruit, skipped E F G H I continued on J which was for Jack fruit, K is for kiwi fruit, L is for lemon, M is for Mango, passed by O to P, P is for peach paseded by Q to R, R for rock melon, S is for strawberrys, T is for Tomato skipped U and V, W for water melon, we skipped X Y Z because because we couldnt think about anything else we were finally finished. Miss Ashley checked again we only gotted 2 points and we gotted 10 points wrong, everyone in the class room had to add up there points the score that we had was 9 points. On the board Miss Ashley wrote all of the people scores on the board. The first team that came first was actully two teams it was: Lily, Maria, and Ana, the other team that came first names was called: Janett, Junefia, and Heleniah, My team came 7th place but it was alright. LMA and JJH gotedd lolies the way they described was stick hard and really yummy.

I really want ton play this challangeing, hard, and awesome game. This game might even teach you smoething like how I learned some countrys, fruit, and even new movies that I can watch. you can even change the catagory. I recoumend this game to play it s really fun and at the same time you are learning I really hope we can still play this game one day.

Solving puzzlez

Today on Thursday the 17th october 2019, Room 7 was playing a game called solving puzzlez. Miss Ashley explained what we had to do.

We had to get into 4 groups, work as a team, and start with the corner first so it could be easier. In my group was: Anittah, Luisa, Tsai, Lynch, and Marlene. My team was so happy that we got to do puzzles even me to but I was kinda exhausted. After Miss Ashley went and got the puzzles out of the bag there was 3 small ones, and 1 big one. The big three ones were diffrent it what the person see's not the exact samething on the box.

Then we all started Miss Ashley asked to the first group "pick a number between 4 and 1" they picke number 3 they got one of the three puzzles, then Miss said to my group "pick a number between 3 and 1" Lynch replied the last one we were so happy but the other were disapointed because they wanted the easy one. The first puzzle we did was called the Hunchbake of Notre Dame at first we thought it was going to be easy but it was kinda hard there was some pieces missing but it was alright. I started of buy doing the Hunchbacker, Tsai was doing the girl, Lynch was doing the lama, and Anittah Luisa and marlene was doing the sky we didn't get it at first but it was alright. By some  time the other team finished that was beside my team we were kinda angry but we still tried by the time we finished, Miss Ashley checked our puzzle she said to all the groups enjoy your work after, you enjoy your work mix it all up really good for the other team to solve. Later Miss said " go and swap with the team on your left.

When we went to the next puzzle we all knew it was goint to be hard. By the time we found out a idea that we all came up with we started doing the puzzle it was one of the three hard ones. Lynch satrted of by doing the outside withe Marlene, Luisa was doing the babys, me Anittah and Tsai was doing the old people with all the plants. It was even harder than we thought it was going to be we didnt get it at first but then we told Miss Ashley if we could get some help, we kept on working for a long time until morning tea. My team was so happy when we finished I feel like I was the most happiest, proudest in the world.

I would like to do harder puzzles in the future so it can make me better. I fell like puzzles is like my calm place when I am to over welm and i am frustrated and angry it really calming, but also can be frustrated because you dont get it sometimes. But I would deffenitly reccoumand this for a calming and relaxing activty.

On Wednesday 16th October 2019, Miss Ashley said "we are going to play a game we played on Monday". First she told us how to play the game for those people who weren't here on Monday like me.

Next Miss Ashley instructed us - she explained "find a buddy; your buddy has to make a circle in the middle, and your other buddy on the outside making a circle so kinda trasforming into a conversation donut". My first buddy was Anittah, Miss Ashley handed out some questions out which was on a peice of paper we had to ask eachother question. My first question that I was asked was 'what is your favourite food?".  I asked her my question and she said " I pefer hot".

I asked her why, and she said "because hot is better." Then Miss Ashley called out "NEXT!" and Anittah moved over, I stayed still.

Lynch asked " would you rather read a book or do your home work?"

"I would read books"

" why? "

 " because it would be less work and easier ".

"okay fair enough"

"Would you rather be hot or cold, and why?"

"hot"

"why?"

"becauase I like to be hot"

"I prefer to be cold because you can heat yourself up, but its hard to cool yourself down if you're hot"

we both started to laugh "hahahaha".

After we rotated again the outside people took 1 step to their left, my next partner was Tsai. Tsai asked " would you rather be Superman and Spiderman?"

" I would rather be Superman "

" why?"

" because i can fly all the way to Canada, then Florida and then back to New Zealand "

we both stayed a quite, Then Miss Ashley said " NEXT! ".

I felt weird and intrested in some kind of way but it was really fun knowing what you would rather.

My weirdest questiion was would have to be would you rather read books or do home work, and my funniest question was with Anittah im not sure why, I didn't really have a gross question,

I hope sometime in the furture or some day we can play this game again but with more harder questions.

On Thursday 26th september 2019, Room 7 was playing pictonary it was simillary to cherades because we had to like draw objects and cherades is like acting in object and feeling.

The rules were no talking or mouthing the word, no writing letters or words no hand guesteres except rolling hands which mean your on the right path. Next Miss Ashley said "get into 3 groups (6 in each group)", she halfed the board and gave the other team a paper and a vived to draw the object. Miss Ashley also said "one person from each group comes up", goes to the corner and then she tells them the word and draw it on the white board and paper. When we finally sorted our selfs in groups we begin in my group was: Moana, Angellynah, Rona, Mathew, Fereti, and Joshua. We had to come up with a group name, when we thinked it over we came up with perfect name our grop was the UFC!.

The first person from our group was Fereti to go up and draw the thing he was told and the other groups to, Miss Ashely counted down from 3 all the way to 1 then he stated drawing he was a shape of an oval and half  a circle on each side my team guessed it was a football but it was actull a basketball the other team gotted the point in their team was: Juniefa, Micheal, Heleniah, Lynch, Janett and Mariyln. When he was finish he had to give it to another person, the next person that when up was Mathew the next thing he had to draw was a teddy bear he started of by drawing three circles and like two half in oval shape for the legs, but we still didn't get the point it was the other team in their team was: Dyzon, Maria, Ana, Wesley, Tsai, and Tisharn.

Again the other person had to give the white board or the vived to another person it was Joshua turn he went to the corner and Miss Ashely told him and the other people from the other group what they had to draw again. When Miss Ashley was finishesd telling them he came back and Miss Ashely counted again From 3 all the way to 1. Joshua startecd of by drawing a Face and eyes, noes, mouth, and teeth, when lots of people was shouting out the awnser Maria team gotted it right we were kinda dissapointed because we didn't get right but we were excited for the next challange. Joshua gave the white board marker to me I went to Miss Ashley and she told me the word and the other people, the word was internet she said she it is going to be hard but i resisted that when I started drawing the symbol for wifi when i finished drawing the symbol, Joshua said internet I was so so happy. When kept on drawing and drawing we finished the activty.

I was so excited to play the game and im happy that we did play this game, I hope in the future that I can still play this fun game. I wolud love to play this game again.

The four things that Litia likes is sport her favourite sport is volley,she is confident what she says and what she does,she loves cookies and cream ice cream, she loves slime so much she can't exist without it her favourite slime is pigmented slime. She love technology so much her favourite tech is a laptop.


Sports
Sports Litias favourite sport is volley she loves volley because it's a good activity for her to play it’s a nice game to play with classmates, family, friends and you can make some new friend during the game.

Ice cream
Litias favourite ice cream would have to be cookies and cream. The reason why she likes that ice cream is because that had a nice flavor to it and that was her first ice cream she has tasted at 4 years old but she kinda likes different flavors too.


Slime
Litias favourite slime is pigmented because its very sparkly highlighted and goes very well with clear slime, she like to play with all kind of slime and loves texture of good quality pigmented slime

Technology
Phones, laptops, computer and ipads. Litias top one has to be a computer because it’s bigger and you actually see the screen properly which is really good. It’s good for people that can’t really see that much.
